Vincent Yuen Ruiz (b. 1990) is a musician and composer whose work explores the delicate interactions between timbres, resonances and stillness.

He is a member of the Insub Meta Orchestra, a large ensemble gathering together more than 60 musicians from all over Switzerland and further afield.

From 2012 to 2018, he played double bass in the critically acclaimed swiss trio Plaistow. The band performed more than 300 concerts across the world, including Montreux Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, Bimhuis Jazz Club in Amsterdam and the Moscow Jazz Festival.
